Take a look at HCL Digital Solutions’ upcoming feature where you can create online meetings on almost any online meeting platform from your Notes calendar.
This solution doesn’t require any installation of new software on the Domino server. Nor does it require any installations of a widget or a plugin in your Notes client. All you need to do is add a few things to your mail file, which can be done in minutes. And any administrator worth her salt can roll that out from the Domino server, pretty fast.
After this has been added to your mail file, you will get some new action buttons in your Notes calendar. These make it possible for you to create, edit and delete calendar entries on online meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeetings and HCL Sametime. You can invite people like it was any other Notes meeting and everything just works just nicely.
We have tested it at NCUG’s headquarters, and it just works! Here is a video giving you a demo of all the aforementioned platforms:
The big take-away: DOMI provides functionality that is missing from the meeting vendors.
Good point! We should have emphasized that. But now you’ve mentioned it. Thanks.
